Juno Beach is a small oceanfront town between Jupiter and North Palm Beach, named for the Roman goddess Juno, wife of Jupiter. It is known for wide natural beaches, a landmark fishing pier and a world-class sea turtle program, all with a relaxed coastal pace.
At a glance
- Population: 3,858 (2020 Census)
- Incorporated: 1953
- Location: on the Atlantic between Jupiter and North Palm Beach, along A1A and US-1
- Notable neighbors: Florida Power & Light headquarters and Seminole Golf Club
What stands out
- Juno Beach Pier: a 993-foot fishing pier, rebuilt in 1999, and a favorite sunrise spot.
- Loggerhead Marinelife Center: founded in 1983 in Loggerhead Park, focused on sea turtle research, rehabilitation and education.
- Sea turtle nesting: in 2023 the 9.5-mile stretch of beach recorded a record 25,025 nests, producing more than one million hatchlings.
- Natural shoreline: dunes and a quieter beach experience than many South Florida coastal towns.
Homes you will find
Juno Beach is best known for oceanfront and ocean-view condominiums, with single-family homes and townhouses west of A1A. Condo buyers should review association finances, reserve studies and recent inspection requirements, which I walk through on every condo purchase.
Getting around
A1A and US-1 connect Juno Beach north to Jupiter and south to North Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens. Donald Ross Road provides quick access west to I-95 and Florida’s Turnpike.
Schools: School assignments follow the address, not the town name. Check any specific address with the School District of Palm Beach County boundary tools, and I am happy to help you look one up.
