Twelve Oaks is a gated community of 197 residences on about 24 acres at the corner of PGA Boulevard and US-1. Built from 1983 to 1985, it pairs condo, villa and cluster-home living with something rare at this price point: its own marina on Little Lake Worth.
Stefan’s take
Gated with a security guard, Twelve Oaks is green with trees and spaciously laid out. Marina slips are available to rent or purchase, and some units come with a slip, which makes this a sneaky great value.
The Quick Facts
- Homes: 197 stacked condo flats, attached villas and cluster homes, all condominium ownership
- Built: 1983 to 1985, concrete block and stucco
- Size: about 1,200 to 2,200 square feet, with some multi-level plans over 3,000
- Security: manned gate around the clock
The Marina
The on-site marina on Little Lake Worth has slips up to 50 feet, several with lifts, and no fixed bridges on the route to the Palm Beach Inlet. Slips are sold and leased separately, and only some homes include a deeded dock.
Amenities
Residents share four pools, a clubhouse with a community room and library, tennis and pickleball courts and walking and biking paths. The Gardens Mall and John D. MacArthur Beach State Park are each about 10 minutes away.
Before You Make an Offer
- Confirm whether the home includes a deeded dock or whether you will need to buy or lease a slip.
- Review each association’s reserves, structural inspection and milestone status under Florida’s condo safety laws, plus any planned assessments.
