Golf, Resort and Club Access

Monterey Pointe sits inside PGA National, so the PGA National Resort, its spa and dining, and five championship courses, including the Champion course that hosts the PGA TOUR’s Cognizant Classic, are just minutes from your door. Club membership is private and optional. Some homes come with one and many don’t, so you can choose golf, sports or social access, or none at all, to fit how you live. As part of Eagleton, residents also have the Championship POA, which runs the manned gatehouse and keeps the roads, common landscaping and lighting in top shape. The PGA Property Owners Association maintains parks and green space across the community, which keeps the grounds spacious and the overall feel relaxed.

Before You Make an Offer

  • Associations: budget for the Monterey Pointe association, the Championship POA and the PGA Property Owners Association.
  • Club membership: decide whether you want PGA National Members Club access, and confirm whether the home you like includes it.
  • Flood and insurance: ask for the elevation certificate if one exists, and get wind and flood quotes during your inspection period.
  • Taxes after you buy: your bill resets to market value after a sale, so file for homestead with the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser by March 1 if the home will be your primary residence.
